On a tengently related note I finally got my newest power profile that I bought to show the right power. I bought sensory powers for Mutants and Masterminds but somebody goofed and made sensory powers strength powers which I had bought already. Ah well, at least I have the proper powers. I've been enjoying the series for the Super hero RPG I like running. When it comes out in a book next year I'll pick up the dead tree version.
For playing supers without having to go into mind numbing detail like you do with Hero System it's great. As far as I'm concerned, M&M has enough detail that you can tailor things as much as you might want but not so much that you can get bogged down in the minutia. It also is mainly point based with the random elements boiled down to just one die roll: a d20 die roll. I honestly just love how the system is put together.
