We trampled a bunch of saplings in one of our stands so that we could better sample a black cherry.

The birch sapling that I'm leaning on looked like it might be fun to step on (I was still in the mindset of a rampaging elephant so I thought I'd snap it). I tried and it turned out to be very. . .springy. bounced me right off of it and onto my ass. My boss had her camera out and caught the aftermath.
