SFO airport still has coin pay phones, and they actually have bells in them!
This example started ringing and I realized it had been over 15 years since I'd heard a REAL bell ringer.
(I've NO idea why I'd set my ASA so high)

Wow modified keypad and a plastic TTY, crazy.
I work on these, we just installed like 30 new brand new out of box ones.
Some of our old ones they let me stick things inside them that play back messages for a geocache game I had going, like if you hold down the volume button and hook, and put in a nickel you will get a message. its funny.
Anyway cool beans, I bet you didnt know they could check them remotely with computers, or even call them directly to see how much money they have made, what the battery charge is, if its on its hook or not, if it has a coin jam, or if the relay is jammed, and other cool things.
