So I'm working on samples to use in a new ad banner, as well as in an updated price sheet for when I reopen. I thought this might be a cool style of portrait to offer. What do you think?

I used really similar techniques for both images! I find it takes me a while, but the result is well-received, and I'm personally satisfied with it, so I think it's worth the effort.

REVEAL YOUR SECR- E-I mean, yes, it's very great. c: It's just when I see stuff like this, it keeps reminding me I've got tons to learn. But it's great how one can turn flat linework into... this @_@ hard work pays off fo sho. I should learn some proper shading techniques someday. The way I do it now is nothing special. x3

This is still a recent thing for me, man. Two years ago I could barely do cell-shading let alone something like this. If it's something you want to do better, and you really focus on improving, it'll happen for you.

This reminds me of the commercial i saw a few years back of the person made completely of chocolate and a person comes by to take a bite out of them XD

The lines, the shading and the style generally is awesome as always,
but for me I'm not sure if it would be something for me with such bright colors. But I think it's just me who's not that much into very bright colors like here ^^
In grey I think it'd look not bad for me

I appreciate the feedback! I don't often use quite so much colour all in one image like this, so I wasn't sure if it would go over as well with all my watchers as my less saturated monochromatic stuff does.

One thing I really have to add is that like already others said, the figure looks incredibly 3 dimensional....With those bright colors even a little like a plastic or rubber toy :D

Though maybe try out making the portrait itself grey and in a dark room and add colored light, that would surely look awesome in my opinion (tries to give honest and constructive feedback ^^)

I could totally do that for anyone who's interested. It would be a pretty similar process, since all that would really change would be the mid-tones and shadows. I'll have to give it a shot and see how it looks!

It has been speculated that my skin is made out of chalk, so it's totally possible that it would rub off.

It's so weird that it ended up looking like chocolate. I actually painted him entirely with violet purple, and a bunch of flamingo pinks.

My favourite are these little dehydrated pieces of banana, coated in super dark chocolate. They're pricey, but I don't eat a whole lot of junk food, so I don't mind the cost.
