Second street on a three way intersection in front of my house on a deep grey, overcast day that is otherwise featureless in sky and shadow. HDiR really pulls the details out, giving the scenery a very eerie, surreal look and feel. Well, Infra red photography will do it by itself, but the HDR technique uses a triple exposure, one normal, another overexposed for the highlights;then one taken underexposed for deep, dark shadow and detail. All is composited together in software to develop the final image you see here. Taken while Tropical Storm Debbie raged on and on, dumping out rain and sucking up all the sunshine. But near IR still makes it to the Earth. ;D
