My Aunt took this picture and sent this too me... I was raised in this area... This is said to be one of the worse fires in Colorado history. 32,000 homes have been evacuated.

Please, depending on your views and beliefs pray and hope for the residents.

If you live in this area (Wilson Ranch/Rockrimmon)PLEASE keep me posted!

so far its reached colorado springs and some homes have been destroyed they wont say how many

This picture was taken near Wilson Ranch Park, I used to live an hour from there. Thank you for keeping me posted... do you know how many acres have burned?

not really all i know is it reached the flying w ranch and burned it down. last i heard it was 30 thousand acers but that was a while ago

im on the opp side of colorado springs of the fire about 15-20 miles from the fire so i hope they get control of it befor we have to go cause its only 5% contained.they just released some firemen may have died they arent sure

no it hasnt. i know kissin camels was evacuated all the areas evacuated are
centenial
kissing camels
rockrimmon
woodmen valley
holland park
and a few other places and uccs got evacuated too

I lived in Rockrimmon since I was a year old and lived there until I was 11-12... I just hope that everyone is ok and that the firemen can get the fire under control. May God be with them...

Agreed.. Westcliffe has already had 5 fires this month.. granted they were small.. but fires nonetheless...

right now, the one in Colo. Springs is like Duckett's Fire in Westcliffe last year... and If we don't get rain soon the whole state will be in flames...

I was raised there until I was 12, I live in Alaska now. It was pretty devastating
