I'm not far from you (outside Philly), and we get the pink and orange "Maxfield Parrish" clouds every now and again. Plus the "angry god-loving god" looming storm skies. But true, nothing like this O.o

Considering the clouds are Mammatus clouds (from the word Mammary, meaning Breast), I would say you are in good company. The guys who study the clouds see boobs too.

Those are mammatus clouds. Usually when you see those the worst of a storm is past. They usually show up on the backside of the thunderstorm.

I've stood outside during a tornado before. Remember the one on the news that almost destroyed Joplin, MO? It hit Oklahoma first, and my friends and I were holding a Con at the time. It passed right over our campsite, giving us five straight days of rain before hand, and one helluva view when it passed overhead. Most of the attendees were huddled inside the dining hall, but a few of us were outside watching the clouds swirl as they passed. It hit a half-mile outside our camp.

I was out hiking around Robber's Cave State Park before then, and got back not ten minutes before it hit. Best con experience EVAR.

That is one of the best pictures of Mammatus clouds I've ever seen!
It means the storms around your area won't end up being to strong and are more than likely going to dissipate as Mammatus is a sign of allot of instability.
