I've not played this DayZ thing, but its a mod for a game I don't think I have :/ a shame too, as it looks really fun

Aww, that sucks. D: I'd say keep an eye out on Steam and on Bohemia Interactive's main site for any deals or offers for ArmA II Combined Operations. Next time it goes on sale, it's definitely worth snapping up, even if you only plan on getting it for the DayZ mod.

Alternatively, I've been hearing some stuff from the creator of DayZ suggesting that he wants to make it a standalone thing based on the ArmA II engine, if it gets popular enough. Given the recent surge in popularity, we may see a standalone DayZ soon, you never know! He's definitely got plans to update it with ArmA III support if it comes out (Makes sense since he's actually working on ArmA III's multiplayer engine), so there's that too. :3

I'm not quite sure what order it happened in, but yeah, Dean "Rocket" Hall, the guy who made DayZ, was contracted by Bohemia Interactive to work on ArmA III's multiplayer. I think that's awesome :D

Yep! Weapons are a last resort, really. It's better to sneak past the zeds rather than shooting them.

Speaking of stealth, I think that one cowardly GELF in your webcomic should try to at least get trained in stealth for nonlethal purposes.

should be under something like "east rp "
we dont use the main hive, we have our own so you dont need to worry about server hoppers or combat loggers and im pretty sure we are the only server that most members will try to roleplay.
it wont affect your normal dayz save for the normal servers either.

I just started playing DayZ a few days ago, and this, along with your other comics is pretty much what happened to me, in order. (almost)

A similar situation, if press or touch everything.
But usually - just slam the door. Very ... fast ... clapped.
