We get these old ladies coming in for coffee too. This one's not so sad, she's of the sort that will likely take care of herself up until the end. Her hair is a perfect shade of silver, curled and set. A shirt to keep warm is tucked neatly into pants that actually match. She's aware of her age and her abilities, using one of those little glasses chains and her cane. She still keeps up with the fashion mags and refuses to give up her heels, though they've gotten shorter over the years. She's the type that demands respect through her surprisingly sharp wit. I love these ladies.
