Ok, so, I should probably explain something here: This picture looks like crap. It's a pokemon drawn in crayon. Not just any crayons, but the standard buck-fiddy pack of 24 crayolas. It was drawn on the back of a 3x5 index card that I never got around to using as a flash card for learning Japanese. (I found better ways. 日本語が上手だよ。)

There's a point to this, and that is that nobody expects a crayon drawing of a pokemon to look good, which means that I can spend 30 minutes on crapping out one of these whenever I find time, and I won't judge myself for all its flaws. This means I might actually get off my ass and draw (almost) every day. This is the only way I'll stop sucking at it. I won't feel bad about wasting good art supplies producing crap.

This image was drawn directly off the sprites found at http://wyncorporation.com/pokemon/ which I will generally be using for picking which pokemon to draw next, unless it comes up with an ugly/retarded pokemon in which case I'll just spam the reload button until it gives me something better. Given how stupid most pokemon look, the latter will probably happen more often than not.

And who knows, maybe when I come out the other side of this, I'll be some kind of crayon-savant.
