This was only Conway's second time to the lake. The first time he got his feet wet and splashed in the water. This time, he literally dove right in. The crazy boy was swimming just to swim! I wasn't throwing anything for him most of the time, he just swam out, went in circles, swam back in, charged back out...he LOVED it. He swam in the water next to where I was walking on the beach, about 10 feet out, for about fifty feet. He actually cried, after two hours of playing, when I made him come back to the car and toweled him off to go home. He stared out the back window of my car and whined.
He is a water dog! I've never seen a dog that swam just because he loved it so much, at least not without a toy to chase!
