"... Hello...
Do you know where I can find a little boy named Mark? A silly raccoon forgot a playdate with him ten years ago, and I fear it's done something horrible to him over time. Could you tell him that... she doesn't expect him to forgive her... and she accepts it if he doesn't...
But if he does, she wants very much to make things right again?
Please?"

This is rather a touching piece.
I'm not real familiar with the character, so I'm guessing the Mark she is speaking of isn't a tv character, but a real person.
While her wanting to make things right could be seen as an offer for sex, I find it much better to think of it in more wholesome terms.
So, am I correct on any of these things?
If not, I still like the idea of this being a touching piece void of perversion.

It actually is void of perversion, of any kind. Mark is the person she's talking to; the person she's wronged. It's based off of a story I'm writing (slowly) that features these events. Mark plays with Bright Heart as a kid, and one day they're supposed to have a final playdate. Well, BH forgets and Mark begins to wonder if she ever existed at all. This is the beginning of a dark spiral in his life where he doesn't believe in true hope or happiness. He gets a dead-end job and joins a heavy metal band that helps him vent his feelings, but something always bothers him. Eventually, Brightheart learns of her mistake and tries to correct it, and it's her first time trying to deal with an adult.
That's the basic premise of the story.

I would love to read a story like this. Lemme know if you want a sounding board for ideas (being a fledgling writer myself).
I gotta say, tho. You have options based on this pic. Brightheart is wonderfully laid out here and if I were in Mark's shoes, I really don't know what I would think, now that I am an adult. Kids see things differently than we do and given the synopsis, seems like he'd have maybe a few problems in dealing with her.
Just a few thoughts there, sorry. Anyways, hope the story comes out well and I can't wait to read it!
