Tyrrlin is a smart customer: I've always felt that the best way to coax artists into putting their best effort in is to load up your book with impressive work by other terrific artists so that the quality bar is raised high... and there's a number of good examples in her book. Happily for me she described a situation where this character's skill at wielding magic isn't fully in control yet and as a result some accidents can occur. That's a perfect opening for me to have some fun with offbeat reactions.
