Oh I know it. She had a thorough exam done after we got home today.
My girl Gypsy, in her younger days, back before I knew what foxtails were, inhaled about two hundred of them...and then had to go to the vet to have them removed.
They can cause serious damage, especially when they burrow up between little doggy toes or go into little doggy ears.
