Nature has an odd way of making you be thankful of what you have. This was taken about a year after the Los Conchas fire that hit New Mexico. When you see trees explode due to a wildfire, you really are thankful of what you have. This is in my relative backyard, just over the mountain's ridge. It's a bittersweet reminder of what once was, and what will be in a few years if nature is kind.
