Phantasy Star rocked. Ah if only the recent games were fully fleshed out role playing games instead of action oriented role players.
Still the series is a good one. Even part three once you get used to it. Hopefully SEGA releases the remakes of one and two over here at some point.

I did enjoy Shinobi in the SMS, although it seemed a lot easier than the arcade being that it had hitpoints compared to the one-hit-you-die difficulty of the arcade.
Double Dragon looked pretty neat, true to its arcade than the NES version, and two player was a plus here.
And Phantasy Star...the best of'em all. I just beat it since at that time it was REALLY hard with the 3D dungeons and all, but it was pretty epic.
