I was almost given the "all audiences" sketchbook from
McClaw after a comment of "you probably wouldn't want to draw in this book" by which he was referring to his book entitled "the Portable Harem". Well... I'm not going to draw something I wouldn't show to my family, but I can certainly draw something that fits in with the stylistic theme! The kicker now will be how many people seeing this picture are too young to recognize what character I'm referencing here...

Funny thing is that I don't think I've ever actually seen a single episode, only brief clips and advertisements back when I could have watched it during re-runs. But what I do remember of the show was Barbara Eden and her charismatic appeal even in those moments. I ought to look up the show proper sometime and become more acquainted with the actual stories.
You got a point there. To my way of thinking however the people most likely to watch re-runs of older TV shows are those folks who were part of the target audience back when it first aired and are watching it again for the nostalgia value. I wonder how many people are successfully introduced to shows like this from re-runs?
