I used to work at an animal shelter when I was itty bitty, and there was a 6 month old kitten there who I just fucking adored the hell out of. So I named her Waffles.
She was not a tortie, but she was a torbie so she was close. So sweet. I looooove caaaaaats. sobs because cats.

But I already have seven. (Six here and one at my mom's).
Gabby, Cloe, Darla, Misty, Batty, Nala, and Tiger is at my mom's.
Gabby and Cloe are tuxedo cats (Gabby is a derp and Cloe is part siamese) Misty is a dilute calico angora mix, Darla is a fat-ass calico that loves people and has no teeth, Batty is a toadstool of a tabby and hates everyone, Nala is an abby-mix, and Tiger is a big generic tabby cat.

But, if we get more I'll name one Waffles....and if we get a ginger cat, I'm naming it Jonesy.....After the cat from ALIEN.

haha Boobins and I just started watching the Alien series. We are now dying to get a cat and name him Jonesy. Jonesy was a boss. Cat wasn't takin no crap from no aliens, no sir. B3

(but not ALIEN3, that one was stupid. And Resurrection doesn't make any goddamn sense....And Prometheus wasn't really a prequel anyway)

I just saw Prometheus. It was... alright. I can see how it was intended to be a prequel, but clearly it was a prequel to a new/re-done Alien series, which they're almost certainly gonna do now. Not sure why they had to redesign everything and couldn't just buy the original Alien and face-hugger design. That made the movie very confusing. David was freaking adorable, my god.

Its not a direct prequel. Never was.
Reason why: The 'engineer' in ALIEN was fossilized. There was no way he could be on LV-426 when the Nostromo shows up if he came from the planet the Prometheus found. Since the time between Prometheus and ALIEN is about 29 years...Nowhere near enough time for the Engineer to fossilize. If he was mummified, that would make sense. But that ship was on LV-426 MUCH longer than just 29 years. So the 'proto-alien' seen at the end of Prometheus is NOT a Xenomorph precursor...its just a potential link to how the true Xenomorphs were created.

I had a cat who lived to be 18. They can live to be into their 20's if well taken care of.
