Ophelia fearing Clawdia would come after him some day
she took the baby Jackalope to America entrusting to a Jackalope couple who could not have children
(thinking of having them gay but Darius is not but they support his heterosexual when he becomes 17 )

Clawdia does eventually track Darius down and kidnaps him while he is at a nightclub into using his blood to revive Dimtri however she fails to get to his blood because of the magic in his blood protecting him thus the needle don't work and decides to torture him to loose blood >x<
Once she has a drop she tortures him more for her own amusement to break his will to joing her and the newly revived which he refuses.
Dimitri bored decided to turn him into a Linchi
and made him work as a slave. Lorna and Ian eventually rescue him after they both had a nightmare about him and Dimitri.

Darius was wary at first till they restored him to his true form, also joining the Solitaires vigilante police.
he had a slight crush on Lorna but would never steal her from Ian but likes to tease for fun.
