Mandy looked up to see her standing there. Jamie Manilow. She hated her. She hated her for everything she stole from her. Jamie stole her band, her fans, and most importantly, her love. So what. I don't need them. Everyday Mandy tried to convince herself this. I don't need them.
Mandy picked up her guitar. At first she was just playing around with the chords. Soon she began playing angrier and angrier. They think she's so perfect. Her fake smile, and her carefree attitude. That wasn't her. It never was. She wasn't an angel. Mandy was a devil. At least she liked to tell herself that.
"So Mandy. I see you still can't play worth the s**t you are," Jamie smirked at her own lame insult.
"Watch it Jamie. You wouldn't want your girlfriend to find out you're the queen b***h would you?"
"She'll never find out what I am. Just like you will never get her back." Mandy cringed. She would do anything to get her Comet back.
Mandy grabbed Jamie by the collar. "I will get her back! And I will prove to her what you really are." Jamie looked shocked. Then she smirked. At first Mandy was confused until she turned around. Comet was standing there.
Comet ran over and started pulling on Mandy's arm. "What are you doing?! Put her down. NOW!" Mandy stared at Comet for a second then obeyed, and flung Jamie to the ground. "You are worse than scum, Jamie Manilow."
Comet ran to help Jamie, then looked up at Mandy. "She is worse than scum? She is worse than scum?! YOU! Mandy, are worse than scum! You lie, cheat, and steal to get whatever you want. You hurt people for no reason. You make people fall for you to get some sort of twisted high, then you leave them there to rot."
Mandy and Jamie both looked at Comet in shock. Neither of them have ever heard her yell.
"Comet I-"
"Just leave Mandy. You've done enough!" Comet turned back to Jamie while Mandy just stared. After an eternity, or a few seconds (Mandy couldn't tell) she turned and ran out the room.
I guess Jamie wins again. Mandy walked onto the stage, and played with her back up band (as her manager calls them). The only good that came out of this was she played better when she was angry. And today she wasn't just angry. She was furious.
