Admirer of bone-carvings, as strong as a Gigas, a Sasquatch pal with muscle!
I don't know about you guys, but I always used Umaro as one of the 12 I brought along in Kefka's Tower. Sure, part of it was because he was a stress-free source of fairly high damage, but let's not fool ourselves - most of it was because having a yeti in your party is simply too badass to pass up. Sadly, Umaro's one of the least loved characters in the whole game! So I thought I'd give him a little well-deserved love.

I most certainly agree. Umaro is one of my staple characters during T-Rex training sessions and fighting every major boss in the World of Ruin. He literally tears those dinos a new one, kind of reminiscent of King Kong fighting his famous T-Rex adversary. The fact his attacks are damage-piercing and his defenses are nothing short of invincible makes him a favorite for me. I don't understand the hate for this yeti either, but I never let ruin my enjoyment of having him along. It's like having a fuzzy Hulk along!
