"Lady" was one of four or five drawings I did for Shelley Pleger's Cat's Don't Dance site, as a special project. (Shelley loves dreaming up projects so everyone can spend a whole lot of time on her favourite characters and ornament her site.) There are essentially three components to the drawing. the plane came first, since I had more or less the whole layout in my head, and the pilot came later once the plane defined the space and perspective. The painting of Sawyer on the plane's nose was last. You can check the final version out in my gallery.
