You can find this too in finished form in my gallery. At this point you can see that there was a number of issues I hadn't decided how to address yet. I had pretty much finished with Sawyer, the "fun" part of the drawing. But was I going to continue with black clouds across a sky which, after all, was logically just as dark? And how was I going to manage the reflection of the moon on the water? Would I really have to do the foreground tree and folliage black? (Yes, I would.) And how was I going to do the effect of Sawyer lit on only one side. By doing a whole lot of work, of course...

Give it some thought -- how would you proceed from here?
