he is a repaint & retool of the 'drift' mold. imho a better use of the mold then drift.
drift by the way is a prime(no pun intended) example of why you have to be cautious about letting a fan who grew up on the stuff draw and run the comics. he dropped drift into the comic canon, and in the process dropped a 'large' third faction that was unknown at the time and gave this character a artifact of enough power that he can wipe the floor with anyone else other then the 'gods' and a couple of the combiners.
