'The Ferret-Tank' featuring my character in his usual 130. Panzer Lehr Division Feldwebel attire. Apparently I've attended the Akira Toriyama School of Vehicle Design.
"The Ferret-Tank Mark 1 is based on a 1997 Suzuki Escudo chassis, adapted for armoured assault, anti-tank warfare and armoured reconnaissance roles. Characteristics :
- 10-wheel rubber-coated tracks with torsion bar suspension
- ERA/NERA (Explosive/Non-Explosive Reactive Armor) in combination
- Air conditioning
- Weight : 12.0 tonnes
- Engine : Diesel V8, 370 Hp
- Power-Weight ratio : 30,5 Hp/tonne
- Max speed : 90 km/h on roads
- Operational range : 550km or the whole of Saint Lucia

- Main armament : Smoothbore RO-S 1 Gun (Ridiculously Over-Sized)

I don't think so because for the life of me I can't remember what Metal Slug looks like. It's most probably influenced by Masamune Shirow's 'New Dominion Tank Police'; and before I got bored with it I added features from various real tank designs, including the T-72 (IR light and rear fuel tank), T-55 (barrel fume extractor), M48 Patton (turret front plate and commander's cupola), AMX-30 (protruding turret rear), Hellcat tank destroyer (machine gun), M3 Bradley (turret-mounted anti-tank missile) and of course the Churchill AVRE (huge spigot mortar gun).
