I dunno. I'm having problems with inspiration again. I thought of this girl as I drew her.

Sorry, now that I'm a bit more awake I'll give you a whole response.
Septum piercing has connotations far beyond just the "Lead around by nose," thing. It has become emblematic of several things. It marks a connection between the bearer of the pierce and the bull, be it strength, stubbornness, indomitable will. Center lip pierces (labret stud and the full lip loop) don't have a connection like that. They're primarily aesthetic and have no greater cultural significance, excepting in several tribes who still practice lip stretching and the like. In the western (read: industiralized) world, the lip pierce is largely and usually aesthetic, exclusively. It marks the wearer as a slave to vanity. They are chained in a way that will only ruin their appearance if they fight back. The statement I read off of the labret is, "I am chained by my vanity."
It's only my opinion, but when I make the statement, I can hardly express someone else's.
