I figure the change the ending is in reference to my post on the other, you'll need to record the sample once in Edison (in FL Studio) or some other internal DAW software plug-in and then manually fade it out or delete it yourself. That is really probably the easiest way. From this you can then save it as a whole new sample and add even more effects/plug-ins on it.
That, or you can go to the sample itself and click on the INS tab and mess with the attack, decay, hold, sustain knobs. I recommend keeping the attack, decay, and sustain on lowest, but adjust the hold knob to try and get the sound to stop barely before the next beat. During this stage you can also go to the piano roll manually and edit each kick note and change the length at 1/64 increments to match the time that way.
