Zan (previously named Xian) is a recently-created character of mine. He's so new I hadn't even devised any sort of outfit for him, so artists at this year's Anthrocon had the opportunity to interpret his looks in their own way. Diana Harlan Stein is always a joy to work with, and kept to the stoic warrior/monk aura of this long-eared jerboa, giving him a dashing monk's coat and a thoughtful expression. He may be a warrior, but he has a contemplative side, too.
