Now I DID say I was taking a break from Pokemorphs, but I make an exception with commission works.
This is especially true with this pic I did for
Melfice of his Lucario, Riou, which I had a significantly good time playing around with, for some reason.
If you can't guess, poor guy has it bad for a certain Koffing over in Team Nocturne and is afraid to admit it...'course, this fact may not be as secret to him as he thinks.
PokeCombatAcademy attendee, in case you haven't noticed.
For the record, I don't typically include other people's characters in commission works, so apologies to
Kaemantis for the surprise cameos.
Forgot to say, photo reference was used for the backround (and simplified to death).

Yup, you and Ryu got it in one. Was in need of some musical inspiration and then the fella who commissioned me pointed out how he likes to think of that song as one fitting for his Lucario. It was played repeatedly during the course of the pic (and I rather like it), hence the title :)
the is so awesome man you should make a comic about them how lucarios always looking at geodude from a far and over time they some how get together but geodude is't use to loving someone else and don't want to hurt him so he breaks up then makes up and i really talk to much don't i X3 sorry but you should try to do a comic serise if you want to about them
Ah...I'm flattered you like the pic so much and all that, but I have to ask: Did you, ah, read the description under the drawing at all?
- That's a Koffing, not a Geodude. His design is based off that of his owner, kaemantis. I apparently suck at anthro Koffings. Ah, well.
- The drawing is a commission. The Lucario is named Riou and belongs to Melfice, the fella who ordered this pic.
- I am really, really lazy when it comes to making comics off my own characters, let alone other people's. So sad to say, that's not happening.
