Oh Edmondir. Also known as Ed. Also known as Maryn's apprentice. Ed has a complicated life. He was born a human to an elf mother and human father. He lived a normal life, nothing spectacular, until he hit about 16 years old and POOF! Turned into a troll all of a sudden. He was not expecting that, nor was he terribly pleased with that turn of events. He gained the ability to work magic, but with it came a huge, pointy, awkward body to adjust to. Strangely enough, his parents didn't seem to mind much that he changed. They just kept right on going like nothing was different. Which was weird for him...

In any case, with his magic abilities came a new friend. He's constantly haunted by a free spirit that speaks to him and sorta taunts him, but has shown itself to no one but Ed. So naturally everyone thinks he's crazy. This is exasperating for poor Ed. Long story short, he eventually ends up on the wrong side of town, Maryn and her cadre run across him, and she takes him on as her apprentice. He doesn't put up a fuss seeing as how she's a dragon and she has nice boobs.
