Thank you! *bows* I'd wanted a darker piece, but still be able to see what the character is doing, too, thus the fire in front of her. And it's wonderfully easy to get a neato background over marker, too; the coloured pencil shows in a lovely sketchy style.

Thank you, Sedrin, sweetie! I worked hard on that one, experimenting with markers to set the base tones and colours, then sketching over it with coloured pencils... Trying to perfect this as a mixed-media style for me.

Awesome. I love this piece. The detail of the werewolf and background is fantastic. ^.^ I played some werewolves in some textbased RPs; great fun. Love the beasts.

Yeah, they are a heck of a lot of fun to play. The game I was involved in was a live-action one, so the costume you see her wearing is one I actually made. Never did get as far as making a fursuit for her, though. Wanted to.

Need to find appropriate fur, though. There's a place called United Fiber Technologies that makes artificial furs for special-effects and stuff... I'd love to use their material, but it's scary expensive. Something like 35 bucks a yard... I'd have to make the pattern, see how much fabric I'd need (probably around four metres- about five yards) and order it after saving up for it. Hmm, a couple of different lengths of fur might be needed, too. Or get long fur, and trim anything that needs to be shorter.

I'm actually working on getting the fursuit thing going- want to make them as part of my costume and clothing design efforts.

Nope, none in the gallery, that is. Though I may reconsider that- got some ideas for a couple of dragons I've been working on... Some of my clothing designs may end up here, too- though they aren't furry related.

I don't know about other people, but when I find an artist on FA I like (no matter if I 'watch' them or not) I look back at their gallery as far as it goes, just to see all the awesome stuff they've done. Most recent doesn't mean that their earlier work/submissions are crap and not worth seeing.

Indeed! Thank you! *grins* I actually went so far as to post my oldest stuff first- some of it dating back to 1989... gives folks an idea of how my style and skills have changed over the years.

Some of it will probably be moved to scraps eventually.
