“You want me to go do WHAT?”
“Run down to the bar and bring me back more rum.”
“But…”
“Tell them it’s for me and they’ll give it to you despite your age.”
“But…”
“I don’t care how you’re dressed, they probably thought you were a girl anyway.”
“……”
“No I won’t train you anymore till you get it. I’ve already taught you the basics of fencing and threw in some terms to boot now GO GET THE RUM.”
“… yes sensei.”
Jules’s little girl shoes clacked lightly as he waddled down the path towards the bar, pouting and dragging his rattle as he went. June was a good teacher that much he had to admit… but she was also a jerk. Not once had she talked to him in anything other than a bored, disinterested tone, she’d been constantly insulting and rude, and now she was making him fetch booze for her! Then there was this whole outfit thing that he was just trying not to think about. He fiddled with the bows in his pigtails a little and sighed. What was worse was that he was starting to get used to it.
A soft and unfamiliar giggle came from in front of him as he walked into somebody. He stumbled back and fell on his bottom, looking up at an unfamiliar riolu. The girl stood about a head and a half taller than him and was wearing some kind of martial arts outfit in a soft green color, her light brown hair was tied up in a high ponytail, and her deep red eyes looked into his as she knelt down to his level and smiled kindly before giggling. “You should be more careful where you’re going!” she chirped, sounding about ten years old “Now where’s your mommy?”
Jules scooted back a little and opened his mouth to answer but an identical voice came from his left “Maybe she’s lost and looking for her mommy?” Looking over Jules found an identical riolu girl standing on his left and smiling down at him kindly. The only differences being her outfit was yellow and her hair was in short pigtails. Jules looked at her in confusion but before he could come up with an answer a pair of paws picked him up. He squeaked as he found himself looking at another identical riolu girl, this time with a blue outfit and her hair falling free. She smiled and rubbed noses with him before cooing.
“Well we’ll just have to help her find her mommy then!”
“Maybe we should show her to our mommy Mei-li?”
“That’s a great idea Lin-li! Hey! Stop tickling her Sun-li! You’re making it hard to hold her!”
“D’aaaaaaw! But she’s so cuuuute!”
Jules was completely overwhelmed. The triplets, he’d decided that’s what they had to be instead of clones, surrounded him and he was having trouble keeping up with which one was talking. One of them had started tickling his exposed legs. He giggled and squirmed helplessly in their arms. He found his head resting on one of their shoulders as they rubbed his back to calm him. He felt them fingering his outfit and blushed furiously as they started making comments.
“Such a pretty dress, she must be a little princess!”
“D’aaaw! She has frills on her bottom too! So cute! Guess she’s not potty trained yet either.”
“She’s even got cute little shoes and socks! Her mommy must really love her to make her so pretty!”
Jules wished he could curl up and just DIE but he didn’t know if being embarrassed to death was possible so he just whimpered and sniffled. That got a chorus of “D’aaaaaaw”s from the girls as they began cooing and tickling him to make him smile again. Jules giggled helplessly and squirmed as he prayed for rescue… as a set of large, strong paws gently pulled him from the girls. He found himself being gently cradled over somebody’s shoulder as he was gently bounced, obviously a skilled hand with babies. The girls all lined up to look up at whoever it was and said at once.
“Hi mama!”
“Hello my precious ones… now care to tell me where you found this little one?”
The voice was female and deep with a sweet tone, definitely an older lady and Jules’s nose could pick up enough of her scent to know she was a lucario… with his head resting on her shoulder he couldn’t tell much more as he listened to the girls explaining they found him wandering the streets. Jules wanted to tell them he’d been going to get his sensei some rum when they’d ambushed him but he was still too embarrassed to talk. He watched the three girls follow behind her from his vantage point on her shoulder (blushing more as they giggled and waved to him), as the lady walked over and sat down on one of the crates littering the town before setting Jules on her lap.
Now finally able to see her clearly he was looking at a very beautiful, and strong looking, lucario lady with a large and shapely figure. She was wearing a martial arts outfit like the girls but hers was a deep red with a patched red captain’s coat slung over her shoulders. She had a strong and slightly intimidating face that seemed to soften as she looked down at him and the girls. Her long blond hair fell freely and Jules felt a slightly puppyish urge to play with it well up inside but he managed to ignore it… just as he found her lifting him up to look him over. He squeaked and was about to struggle but a firm tap on the nose made him whine and go limp as she established who was in charge here. Finally she finished looking him over and sat him back down on her lap, her expression still kind but a little confused as she gently rubbed her ears and asked.
“Tell me little boy, where are your parents? And why are you dressed like a pretty little girl?”
“It’s a boy!?”
Jules blushed bright pink as the girls all shouted that out at once. He wanted to shout and blame Beret for all this, he wanted to tell them he never wanted to wear these clothes in the first place, he REALLY wanted to tell them he wasn’t as young as he looked but due to how embarrassed he was the best he could do was suck his thumb for comfort and mumbled “Nu weason…” weakly as he sat there shly. The lucario lady laughed at that and scooped him up to rub noses with him making Jules giggle despite himself. “Well I can’t fault you for that…” she said giggling before gently bouncing him on her knee “You do make an adorable little girl… care to tell us your name dear one?” she asked gently.
Jules found himself giggling at the bouncing as he squeaked out “J-Jules!” making the triplets coo “D’aaaaw! Such a pretty name! She can’t possibly be a boy with a name as pretty as that!” one of them said as another piped in “Can we keep her mama? Can we please?” and the third added “We’ve always wanted a little sister!” A cough from the lucario silenced them as she smiled kindly and cradled Jules “Let us talk about that later girls, our little friend has introduced himself… it would be very impolite for us not to do the same.” The three immediately lined up in order of blue, green, and yellow.
“I’m Mei-li!”
“I’m Lin-li
“And I’m Sun-li!”
Jules tried to associate their different clothing colors with their names but they spoke too fast for him. He found himself looking up at the lucario. She maternally stroked his hair back as she smiled “And I’m Ching. We’re the Kenpo Crew and it’s a pleasure to meet you little Jules.” Her voice was gentle and loving, reminding Jules of his mother and how much he missed her, but something struck him as a little odd “Crew?” he asked timidly making Ching laugh “Well there’s only me and my daughters… and we’re just a crew because we’d rather not get in trouble with the marines by calling ourselves pirates.” She explained slowly, still thinking Jules was a small child, as he nodded.
“Now then…” she smiled as she sat him up on her lap and gently adjusted his ponytails “Where are your parents little one?” she asked as Jules blushed. He’d been dreading this question for obvious reasons “Um… Ms. Ching?” he started making her giggle a little at how he referred to her. “Please dear one, just Ching… or Mama if you prefer.” She said stroking his hair again and making him blush. “Ching…” he started again, ignoring her slight pout at not being called Mama “… I’m a-actually the f-first mate of a b-bounty hunting crew… s-so my parents aren’t here.” He said slowly and braced himself for the response.
“See! See Mama! I TOLD you I saw some big toddlers watching us tie the ship up! There was a teddy wearing a captains coat!”
“Yeah! I saw them too! I bet they were his crew!”
“A whole crew of babies? Who takes care of them?”
The three girls began to chat eagerly amongst themselves as Ching just gave Jules a concerned look. After a few moments she coughed again silencing the trio “So… you’re the first mate?” she asked, disbelief in her voice. Jules nodded and pointed to the rattle he’d dropped “Uh huh, and that’s my sword… sorta… I’m still learning how to use it properly…” This got a disbelieving headshake from Ching as she muttered about swords training before potty training. Finally she lifted Jules up so his head was resting on her shoulder again as one hand cradled his padded bottom and the other was rubbing his back. “That settled it.” She said as she kissed his cheek lovingly “You’re coming with us.”
“Yaaaaaay!”
“W-what!?”
She held him out and smiled as she rubbed noses with him “Isn’t that great? You’ll get to be with your own kind now! I’ll make sure you’re loved and taken care of, I promise.” She said still talking in her kind and motherly tone. Jules meanwhile was utterly horrified at the idea of not getting to be with his friends and to the small groups surprise managed to squirm his way free of Ching’s grasp and land on his feet. “No!” he said defiantly, folding his arms and looking up at her “I wanna stay with my friends!” prompting all four of them to give him a confused look as Ching leaned forward a little and tilted her head slightly.
“But I’ll be able to take so much better care of you.” She said, using the “parent explain what’s best for a child” tone of voice as she reached out to pat Jules’s head “After all, I’m sure those lesser species would never be able to help you grow like you should…” she stopped as Jules hopped away from her again. This time puffing his cheeks out in anger as he shouted “Don’t call my friends lesser species! They’re way better then you are!” he shouted not really thinking what he was saying at this point.
She raised an eyebrow at that, a slightly annoyed look crossing her face “Excuse me?” Jules didn’t catch her change in expression as he just continued “Yeah! We’re friends and crewmates! If you think I’ll abandon them for some old lady who thinks she’s better than others just cause of her species then you’re wrong! Wrong wrong wrong!!” he finished as he glared up at her… only to finally notice the annoyed expression turn to anger. “Mama! Don’t!” one of the triplets, he thought it was Mei-li, said as she tugged on Ching’s coat as the lucario ignored her and got up an intimidating aura radiating off her.
“I think a certain puppy needs to be taught to respect his elders. If you’re so confident your lesser species friends are the ones who are best for you why don’t you prove it !”
“P-prove it?”
“You said you were a swordsmen right? Well then I challenge you to a duel! Right here and now!”
“What!?”
“That’s right, if you win then you can stay with these worthless friends of yours… but if I win you’ll become my newest daughter!”
“I’m a boy…”
“Do you accept or not!?”
Jules looked at the girls first then up at Ching. The triplets had a worried “here we go again” expression on their faces and Ching was furious. He didn’t really have the option to turn her down. Nodding his head softly he waddled over and picked up his rattle. Ching still had an angry frown on her face as she ushered her girls to the side of the road and took her coat off, leaving it on the crate, before walking to the middle of the path and taking up a stance Jules was unfamiliar with. Her feet spread, knees bent slightly, and arms at her side with her paws curled into fists. Trying to ignore his knocking knees Jules took up the stance June had taught him, one foot slightly forward, legs spread for balance, holding the rattle at the ready with both hands.
He was trembling slightly as he looked at Ching. It was almost as if she was giving off a visible cloud of menace… he blinked and went wide eyed. She WAS! He could see aura surging around her in a menacing dark hue like some kind of black flame as it took shape into some kind of demonic looking face that looked ready to gobble him up. Any rational mind would have fled on the spot but Jules’s reaction was rather different “Woooooow! I didn’t know you could do that with aura…” he said as Ching raised an eyebrow and the demonic face and dark aura faded “It’s called Akuma Masuku Aura… and I was hoping it’d make you surrender without a fight.”
“Sorry… but no… um… you… you aren’t going to use aura against me are you?”
“You deserve to be punished but no, I would never go all out against a child. Now make the first move.”
Jules gulped and readied his rattle. At least he had the comfort of knowing she was going easy on him… at this point he was too grateful to be insulted by it. He’d also learned enough from June to know that if he DID make the first move he’d probably get his skull cracked open since he was going against an older, stronger, and obviously more experienced fighter. He’d have to do something else… he racked his brain a moment for what June had called that move as well as the French his mom had tried to teach him at one point.
Taking a deep breath he bent his knees a little moving his rattle to one hand and starting to swing it by its ring as he move it behind him and his other arm in front of him “Préparation Nouveaune!” he said, making up the name for this responsive stance right on the spot. Ching just look at him like he’d lost his mind for a moment before shrugging “Fine then… defend yourself!” she shouted suddenly dashing forward and bring her knee up to clip Jules in the chin. “Coup d'arrêt Poupon!!!” Jules shouted at the top of his lung as he used the built up centrifugal force from spinning the rattle to swing it forward and whack Ching’s knee before it hit him, knocking it off course to the side.
“Riposte de Poupon!!” He shouted again, still making up names as he went as he swung his rattle back the other way and smashed it into Ching’s middle section since the lucario was still surprised by him blocking her strike. She winced only a little before leaping back but Jules was on a roll. “Balestra se Dandiner!!!” he shouted hopping after her and swinging his rattle into the knee he’d smacked before. Ching gritted her teeth but seem more surprised and annoyed than hurt as a quick punch sent Jules tumbling back… but he could tell she’d held back to keep from hurting him. That was going to cost her.
“Bondissant Poupon!!” he shouted, now just completely making things up as he went as he started to jump around Ching, bouncing this way and that as he jumped off crates and other debris and even bounced off the thick seat of his diaper as he erratically circled her. Still looking at him as if he’d lost it for shouting out these random words Ching whipped around trying to keep track of Jules with her eyes as he jumped this way and that. Giggling Jules jumped off a barrel and threw himself butt first at Ching just as she turned to face him.
“Coup de Couche!!” Jules giggled as his thickly diapered bottom smashed into Ching’s face making her let out a small sound of surprise for the first time in the duel as she stumbled back. Tumbling off her Jules sprinted as fast as he could with his thick diaper and used the wall as a spring board to jump into the air shouting “Lunge se Dandiner!!” as he swung his rattle down on Ching’s head hard. The surprised lucario didn’t try to block as the heavy toy smashed into her head knocking her over. Jules jumped back, panting a little, as he pointed his thumb into his chest.
“Look! You’re nice and all but I wanna be with my friends and that’s MY choice to make! You have no right to try and force me to go with you! Even if you think that’s what’s best it’s still MY choice and…!!!”
Jules stopped suddenly as Ching sat up, looking at him hard with eyes that weren’t even slightly dazed. She casually got up and brushed the dust off, no sign that any of those blows had done anything to her other than annoy the lucario. Jules gulped and stepped back a little, suddenly getting the feeling he was rather outclassed. Oddly enough Ching’s expression had softened from anger into thoughtfulness as she seemed to be lost in her own head unaware of the riolu she was still supposed to be fighting.
**********************
In this world there was something called Aura Convents. Monasteries of sorts that taught the powers and use of aura to anyone willing to devote themselves to learning it. Very few people possessed the natural talent needed to use aura so not many benefited from the training but many came to try. The monks and teachers of these Convents were always lucario and their riolu disciples. They were the ones who stayed at the monasteries their whole lives and the ones who created new and astounding uses for aura in their quests to perfect their skills. They tended to look down on other species but since they never left the Convent it was not a major issue.
But in these Convents there was a sharp divide. In the strict “Traditional” Convent, due to how rare female lucario were and the fact that only riolu and lucario were allowed to be the masters of the temples the few females were expected to help continue the temples line and no matter their strength they were considered little more than property by most of the males. Unless one was strong enough to fight off the constant advances there wasn’t much a female could do about it. It was in one of these “Traditional” convents Ching had been raised.
She could remember it clearly even to this day. Her parents abandoning her to the monastery when she was only eight years old. The years of work and trained to become one of the strongest fighters and aura masters there… only to evolve and become little more than a piece of meat to other lucario. She had a warriors pride in her heart and fought off their advances hoping to gain their respect. To be treated like the powerful warrior she was, but years of ethos beat into their heads meant she was never treated any better than a potential child bearer and was actually looked down upon for refusing their advances. The only thing that helped keep her sane were her “Daughters”.
Triplet riolu girls abandoned to the Convent that she’d taken responsibility for. She’d raised them as both her own flesh and blood and her disciples and loved and cherished them deeply, but in the back of her mind she knew so long as they remained in the Convent their only future was the kind of suffering she endured. She decided… she made a vow to herself that they would escape from that place.
Her chance came when the girls turned ten and the head monk got a little too deep in his wine. They stole his boat, sailed away, and never looked back. It had been her choice and she knew the potential consequences… but if it meant a better future for her girls she accepted them gladly. Her only goal was to save enough money to build a stable life and keep her daughters happy. The thought of another member to her small family was true elation to her… but at what cost? She may have escaped from the Convent but if she inflicted that kind of suffering upon another then what right did she have to care for these three girls she held most dear?
She could not force this boy to join her crew… to do so would be unforgivable…
But that did not mean she would let him win.
********************
“Jules… no… dear one. I would like to apologize, but with my pride as a fighter on the line that must wait until after this match has finished.”
“Huh?”
“No more holding back.”
Before Jules could respond Ching had cleared the gap between them and sent his rattle flying out of his hands with a snap kick so quickly he took him a moment to realize it was gone. “…!!” before he could do anything more her foot worked its way under him and with the grace and gentleness of launching a glass ball she kicked him skywards. Jules squealed and still stunned and confused held his dress down as it tried to flip up… much to his own embarrassment. The kick hadn’t hurt him but it did send him tumbled through the air helplessly as he tried to angle himself so he could land on his feet.
Before he landed however Ching’s hand scooped him out of the air and with delicate grace sent him skyward again. His sense of direction completely gone Jules screamed helplessly as he tumbled end over end fully expecting to crash hard into the ground… only to be grabbed out of the air again and found himself spread over something with his padded bottom in the air. It took a moment for his head to stop spinning but when his vision cleared he realized he was over Ching’s knee in a position any child recognizes and fears.
“I told you I would punish you for disrespecting your elders.” She said teasingly, one hand holding Jules in place “And a good spanking ought to do the job nicely.” It took the riolu a moment to comprehend what she’d said but once he did his reaction was immediate “Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!” as he desperately squirmed, trying to free himself. He had no luck as he heard her other hand pull back and Jules braced for the impact… as he felt a gentle swat that was more like a teasing pat against his thickly padded bottom. Blinking and sniffling he looked up to Chng who had returned to her kind maternal smile from before.
“I think you’re ready to concede now?”
“U-uh huh…”
“Good… I do hate having to punish children…”
She gently lifted Jules off her knee and cradled him against her shoulder again, gently rubbing his back as she could feel him about to break down sobbing. “Shhhh, shhhh dear one…” she said soothingly “I decided something during the match that I think you’ll want to know.” Jules sniffled and looked to her with teary eyes. She giggled and gently kissed his nose “No need to make such a sad face… I decided to let you out of our little wager. You can stay with your friends… and I’m sorry for insulting them earlier.” She said, having to restraining herself from grinning as the puppy’s face went from heartbroken to elated in a matter of moment and he happily hugged her.
“Thank you!”
“You’re welcome dear one! Buuut there are a few conditions to this.”
“… conditions?”
His ears were drooping and he was back to sad again so quickly Ching couldn’t help but laugh as she picked her coat back up and sat down, her daughters gathering around them “Oh it’s nothing too bad. I would just like to consider you a part of my family even if you aren’t sailing with us… that and I would like you to spend some time with me and the girls whenever our paths may cross. Is that okay with you little Jewel?” she asked setting him on her lap and poking his nose affectionately. He blushed at the name she called him but nodded eagerly… and was promptly snatched off her lap and cuddled by the elated triplets.
“Yaaaaaay! We have a baby sister!”
“I wanna get to play with her first! I wanna see if we can make her even prettier!”
“That’s easy silly! We just need to put more bows on her! Like on her tail!”
Ching couldn’t help but laugh at Jules’s despondent expression as he was cuddled, cooed, and petted by her daughters who’d warmed up to the idea of a baby sister quite nicely. “Such a precious scene… wouldn’t you agree?” she said turning to look at June who was standing not ten feet away. The jynx was watching them dispassionately as she leaned against a building and drank. She gave an annoyed snort as Jules looked at her in terror, remembering what he’d been sent to get in the first place. “Forget it.” She said holding up the rum bottle “I got a feeling you’d have trouble so I went and got it myself.” With that she turned to leave as Jules’s ears droop. June stopped though and looked back at him.
“Saw the fight by the way. Maybe training you wasn’t a waste of my time.”
And with that she left, leaving Jules with a BIG grin on his face. Coming from June that was a big compliment. Ching shrugged before smiling “Now then… you said you were the first mate of a ship didn’t you Jewel?” she asked as Jules nodded “Well then, I would like to meet the rest of your crew… and I’m sure my daughters are eager to as well.” Jules smiled and opened his mouth to agree… just as the thought of what’d happen if Beret and the girls joined forces. His face paled as Ching tilted her head and chuckled.
“Looks like we’ll have to stop for a diaper change along the way. Come along girls and bring your baby sister with you.”
“Yes Mama!”

“Yes Mama!”

it's like reading the bios of Jules and his family again. you read it, the you feel slightly depressed in your heart about thinking what they went through.
she starts off cute and motherly, then turns bitch-y, then introduces the existence of possessive sexism, raping the women in order to "continue the line", and how no matter how strong you are, if your a female lucario, the males will basically useing you as a sex slave until you become pregnant, give birth, then keep using you as much as they please, all while treating you as property, as well as the tear jerkative backstories of her and the kids that accompany her, her morale realignment, and then summing it all up with the tear jerking humor that your renowned for. all wrapped in the lovable goodieness of your PCA characters.
Your skill still amazes me with how you reviled mature themes and situations in an easy-to-understand, g-rated format...[i]that[\i] requires an imenssive amount of skill and talent to pull off. You must be proud of yourself for being the creative genius you are!

wow...
so, even when you half-ass it, it's still great crap? I'm scared to see what your absolute best would be!
Might?! i-i did the same thing you did!! had to think a little but...
and yes...i'm still gonna give this story and uncalcuable number because of...Ching, was it? (still not counting that it's a female, the riolus, and her being hot/sexy, at which point...i might create a paradox due to the intensive mass of the number.)
...Bloody Hell, it's 4:41 in the morning!

Well I've gained a real love for Ching, and wish you well in finding a happy life for her girls. As for Jules it's just another normal day in the life for him.
Sara: Well at least you helped in some way, Jules. Ching, I'm very glad to see someone as strong as you fight for your dream. *hands both some charts* These will lead you to my home town, Firesoul Town. It's the huge shipyard city. Please stop by sometime to say hello. You'll find me at "David's Bar and Shop". Later. ^^
(I'm getting ideas for at least a place to have a huge battle and reload on gear if needed. I'll get it to you in a few days.)
