Connery is Irish, and part of the same pack as Suzy Langley and Chance London. He is Chance's ex-brother in law. Chance entered his werewolf pack through marriage with his sister Pearl. She was killed, and now Connery curses and teases Chance and the rest of the London. He especially insults him for being born of thralls (his parents weren't born werewolves, although they have very strong strain of lycanthropy.) and for going out with werecat Ray (Werewolves have no qualms about homosexuality, but they're very proud and are not fond of other werecreatures.)
