He's got a thing for humanoid feet, and I originally made the change at his request.
After a while thought I started to like it, so I kept it that way~

well if you'd like some particular pointers, one of the things I did here was to use to the darker colors as the base, then paint in the midtones and highlights on top. Also, to create more gradual transitions between colors, I used the eyedropper to grab the shade between base color and the color I was laying on top of it.
