I know I will surely miss my dog when she passes. I love her so much. She is a boxer black lab that is 17 years old in human years with arhritis, losing eye sight, and also going deaf although she has ALWAYS been the dog that would selectively listen to you in the first place XD yet she still acts like a puppy.

it is tough. they always leave a mark in your heart.

I have had her for 17 years and she has always treated me like her puppy and still does. Heck when I see her having trouble going up and down stairs and even moving it hurts inside.

Condolences. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I may not know you, nor know of your pup, but I sympathize deeply as I have and will continue for many years (hopefully) to experience this. Its an honor to know them in life, but we must always make the willful choice to be there in good and bad times..........and be the last gentle voice and image they see as they pass on into the great unknown.
