It's a nifty take, but the Capn' always pictured her sword as REALLY large. Not sure if that's cannon though ^^;

That's the one thing I need to tell Shauv.

Her sword, regardless of its incarnation, should look like it was made from a large tooth.

A dragon's tooth to be precise.

The tooth was a gift from a dragon whose eggs she saved and Aries took it to the Spirit Forge where the Fey compressed it, sharpened it, put a handle made of pyrotanium on it (An extremely heat resistant metal) and had it made into a sword with a fire gem imbedded in the pommel.

Witchfire, her pistol, was forged from the Sword of Viraclese, a saint who had fallen only after he had sealed away a greater demon into a gemstone. Inscribed with holy runes from the reclusive priests of the Everlord and with the mantra of Saint Viraclese 'I shall fear no evil', this weapon enchants all ammunition used in it with heavenly white fire. So hot it's mere degrees short of igniting atmosphere.

So you like her better with the more weathered look?

She looks weathered, but still kinda young an supple. She's a glorious contradiction of the hard bitten rebellious merc, an the idealist adventurer sort to The Capn' :)

Yeah. She's got a lot on her shoulders and a real dark cloud over her head, but she still manages to keep her emotions and heart stable.

That's sort of her *key* feature. Her indomitable, iron will.

After Hell, she committed herself into a discreet mental institution. High class. They helped counsel her and get her mind off of the horror she'd witnessed and what she knew was in store for her.

Of course after she came to terms with it, then she became *dangerous*.

And unlike many of her cohorts in the Mercenary's Guild and soldiers and even the masters who helped her reach grandmaster swordfighter status, she fights with her *soul*.

And also... yeah... I think she's a proper kick in the nuts of those stereotypical mercs who haven't any personality outside of 'Grr, twitch, bulge!'

And what's more, she's a strong female, but she doesn't need to remind anyone she's female.

She's not the feminazi wetdream of the butch woman. She doesn't stand on a soap box.

She is simply a woman who is strong. She doesn't have to say 'Don't think I'll miss just because I'm a woman!' or some drek like that. It's not that she burst through the glass ceiling. It's that she was never aware of it in the first place and she simply *is* who she is. She *does* want to have a family eventually. She *does* want to settle down. She *does* want to raise her children properly when the time comes.

Even though she would go on to become more a force of nature than a person, she's still a person at the core of it all. She has her feelings, her hopes, her dreams, her fears, her burdens.
