Gender is what your mind registers you as. Sex is your actual genitalia.
Some people feel like their in the wrong body; that's where the issue between Sex and Gender come into play.

Then again, a transsexual was originally one sex that had the actual operation to switch to the gender they felt most like, which makes them a transsexual.
But then again, they sort of go hand in hand..
Man, it's a confusing topic.
Unless the Snivy has both genitalia, THEN it's a Hermaphrodite, which is a whole different subject.
