Probably... bout as long as a meter stick I think... not counting the poofy end, which I'd like to be about another 10 inches or so. So about 4 feet total? I want it to be longish but not as long as her tail would really be because then it would drag all over the place... lol. Do you think that would be too long? I'm open to suggestions as I suck at estimating measurements ;P
I saw a lion tail that I thought work fairly well for her tail design, just that the non-fluff part would a little thicker. Now that I actually have a decent income I might be able to actually pay for this, and I want a tail so bad~

I was kinda wanting some sort of wire so it would be somewhat poseable, like my mom made me a cat tail for a black cat costume one year for Halloween that had some thin wire in it so I could make it bend and stuff but it was still mostly floppy... maybe a little stiffer than that for zen's though, especially since it would be thicker and heavier. And no wire in the fluffy part, I want that to be completely floppeh~
And if you feel the urge I won't say no, just need to know about much it would be before I commit completely, not sure how much I could justify on spending on a tail at the moment XD
