>< It may not look like a wolves tail because it looks too straight down, but you know what, I've always phailed at the anatomy. This sucker has been a pain to get done.
I tried to hand sew it, since the sewing machine we do own at home is a little broken because the thing where the bobbit of thread sits...I guess its broken. And there isn't enough time in my families day to be able to take it down to a Sewing Machine and get it fixed.
...I DESPISE the Blanket stitch! >< I tried it w/the pink splotch on the tail and AAAAAAA!
I ended up just refering to a Hot Glue Tail Tutorial I found on YouTube through the YouTuber: OrochimarusPanties (yes, this is an actual screen name) and the video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4cgiDkaHHw&feature=related
I have to say, I was skeptical of hot glue use, but...Its been a life saver.
Hopefully once this is stuffed, sewn shut and elastic added for belt loops...that it'll have a wolf appearance. If not, then oh well. Guess a little on the inside I'm a little bit of a fox too XD Seeing how I plan to next year or 2014 pull together an Arabian Fennec Fox fursona to don about.
Tip about how what to do first for this was helpful when reading through the "How to make a Tail" part of http://www.matrices.net run by
because I would've not known to do secondary colors before the others when making the tail.
Something to keep in mind if I do complex tails. I know the Fennec I've got cooking in my brain might be since I'm gonna see about putting the Arabic script for the name I chose for her down the tail w/two rings interconnecting at the bottom.
See if you can guess the Arabic name for "Faithful" which is gonna be my Fennec fursona's name. XD
