Another poem I am considering submitting; i cleaned up the punctuation and switched out sensation for passion in one of the lines, and did some light other touch-up, it is almost the original poem.
The second version is an attempt to stabilize the rhyme and line length, to see how it would feel. Personally, i dislike it terribly; it does not have the same swaying affect that i enjoy in the first version, but it helps to look at things from different perspectives.
Any comments advice before i submit?

The subject is a type of spiritual journey; a kind of serendipity induced by the ocean, while using metaphors of drinking to explain the journey. Perhaps, it makes more sense in my mind, because port (as in the wine) and other types of wines really stir me deeply, the fragrence, the taste, is almost a ceremonial and savory experience; spirituality is a very similar experience as well. 'Tipsy' and 'Enlightened' seem to walk a thin line, as does 'bravery' and 'stupidity' for others. The poem tries to capture that; its a bit off the wall, but i love the.. well... taste of the poem, no pun intended :}
Ahhh...
This I have visited once before.
Kia...
After reading and re-reading this and taking in what you have said to Vixy I still have to say this is one heck of a poem. The visions remain in that, yes this is a spiritual experience, yet I still see the life, death and re-birth. The beauty of knowing in life there will forever be the chance of re-birth makes life that much more precious.
Take care,
Tye
