yep.
found one of the only things i keep from the first time i drew stuff on SAI :P
and i redrew it.......THE after ONe was done rather quick. just like the BEFORE :3

it all really depend on when you started drawing, and when you started to be serious about it.
you've seen my time line meme, it's be 10 or so years i started drawing because i wanted to show my friends how the characters i made looked. and then it just kinda went from there, all through my high school days i would rp on msn with some friends, and that were most of my inspiration came from lol.
so i started around when i was 12-13 ish, and now i'm 22, will be 23 in like 2 months, so i've had alot of time.
and through my experience everyone is at there own level, there are ppl your age who are alot better than me. and then people who are like 27 and are just as good as me. so age is just a number really , the real number should be how long you've been working at it.
im not sure when you exactly started but your doing good, i see a few issues with the new one, but not as many as i do with the old.
as for sketches, i think taking life drawing and having to draw the human figure in 30 secs, or min made me a quicker sketcher. we were also taught if the pose isn't working scrap it and do another. thats why if you see me sketch out a few poses it's trying to get the one that really works. i'll tell you i tried drawing in my sketch book, and i hated it cuz i couldn't just delete the shitty sketch, i just that a main reason i went digital.
(well if you really think about it dragon lore, some of it anyway is based of dinosaurs)
