I went down the alley, giving chase to a criminal I spotted robbing from a young woman across the street. I had reason to believe he was a repeated offender. I had caught his face as he saw me following him. He looked similar to one wanted poster in the office. Some officers were injured by his gun.
The path bent left. There was a slight breeze as I traversed the hall. I remembered this alley. When I was younger, I used to beat up crooks here for trying to rob people. At the end, there was a barbed fence the criminal could climb over, but there were barrels that provided a good cover. I didn't hear any noise, so likely he decided on the latter tactic. He's probably thinking he can take me out and get away.
Some criminals I've seen with guns didn't really know how to use them. If he really knew how to fire a gun, those officers would be in a far worse shape. I needed to see how good he truly was with it.
I decided to stick my tail out to see if I could trick him. A split second after, I heard him begin firing, immediately retreating my tail.
One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Five shots, five bullets smashed against the wall. Had I stepped in, they would have been to my head. I could hear him cuss as he began clinking his gun. His five shots were wasted on nervousness. I stepped in, pointing my gun at his face.
"The gig is up. Surrender," I warned him. He looked up stunned, then continued fumbling to reload his gun. I shot a barrel near his feet. The noise made him jump and drop his weapon. Checkmate.
"It's over. You're coming with me." As I handcuffed him, I got a good look at his face. He did indeed match the wanted poster. I phoned in to the other officers, notifying them I caught the criminal. It's funny, I thought he would be a harder catch. He managed to injure three officers and escape each time. Maybe I'm expecting too much from these people. This is Alek Rudiarus. He's a skilled grey-wolf policeman. There will be more of him. One of my favorite parts of drawing is being able to bring characters to life. I enjoy creating characters, I love seeing them develop and grow. It's one reason why I love playing games as well. I'm not sure if my writing or drawing portrays it well enough, but... well, that can be improved with time.
Something to note in Alek's universe, guns are not as strong as the real world's guns. They cannot kill in a single bullet. It would take about four or five to seriously injure someone. One shot would be like a cut or something. On the other hand, they're far more accurate than the real world's guns.
I'm practicing my shading here. I've never put much practice into it, so I don't really understand it too well.
