This piece is, without doubt, one of my sillier songs. Inspiration comes from all the zany sound samples I've aquired over the years. This is a sample based song, written on my old Amiga1200. As such, you'll find the sound quality a bit grainy. I think it's an enjoyable song, none the less, just leave your dancing feet at the front door.
Samples come from the newer japanese version of "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II" and "QVC Home Shopping Network"

Developed using the A1200, OctaMED Soundstudio, DSS8 Sampler & Software, and lots of touch-ups with Skale Tracker and Audacity.

Definitely weird... Classy? I'm not sure. Cheesey, yes. ^^
As a point of interest, The only English 'English-speaking' actor in 'Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla' had quite possibly the most detatched, dry voice in the film, amongst all the Japanese actors. His dialog was, beyond doubt, written from japanese perspective, as it didn't quite make grammatical sense, even with his flawless accent.
His best line was "If we were to attach this here... then that would. So." (if memory serves right. It just sounded strange =) )

It's not hard to take out the voices.
Back when I wrote the song, having a computer that could make cool music -and- play digital samples was like being a veritable kid in the proverbial candy store. I had lots of gratuitous fun plugging in all sorts of wierd noises and nonsense dialog.
If you're truly interested, I can put that together and pop it in my scraps. Or, if you've patience, I'm slowly converting my old music from sample-based to MIDI-synth, which would have an overall cleaner sound, with or without dialog.
