Description: Barathroi are the dominators of nightmares and live in the same world as the Oniroi. Their main form is that of an enormous, floating, skull-headed crocodile but they have a secondary, more dangerous one, the Battle Form, that is unique to every Barathron. They feed on the negative emotions of humans and use their powers to force nightmares and evoke such emotions but the younger and less experienced the Barathron, the higher the risk of killing the human prey. Oniroi are protectors of dreams and are considered an obstacle between the Nightmare Kings and their food.



Personality: Volkfar is the oldest Barathron still living in the dream world of Etherwas. His power is so immense that he is considered the King of Kings among his species and his Battle Form is said to instantly kill anyone who dares to gaze upon it. One day, a young Oniron named Aazon stumbled upon his lair, wounded from a fight with another Barathron. Feeling bad for the him, Volkfar treated his injuries and was thanked with a bite on his snout. Despite the cub's horrible temper, Volkfar is fond of Aazon and welcomes him in his home whenever the young Oniron is in need.
