Continuing from my last post about rabbit things....
Meet Aria - the first of two initial main characters from my open format project thinger. The end result on my brief experimentation with rabbit characters... though I still gotta rebalance those leeeeeeeegs.
It's a simple and sweet design for a simple and sweet character. One that is going to be in stark contrast to the second character who I will put up shortly as I nail his design down.
Although I've told certain people bits and pieces of my characters backstories they never went anywhere and characters I once created for specific purposes have been grosely perverted and their stories completely unused. This is the redesign of one of one such case. She will be what Blink should have been. He is still gonna be around to the extent that he has been... he just won't be part of the story I had originally created him for. What does that mean exactly? Hopefully if I can get this thing off the ground you'll find out soon enough. I've been thinking about ask blogs and MSPA styled comics (like the beloved PREQUEL) for a while now and I really want to try something like that out. I want the exploration of the world and the development of the characters to be influenced by a community... much like character themed how formsprings used to be... but however form this will take I still haven't decided.
I was thinking of presenting it two different ways. One way in the normal ask/ mspa style and another in a proper page-layout format once the individual panels are compiled. How will this work? Well, there is only one way to find out! One things for certain is that I definitely needed to tone down the level of detail and ramp up the style and body language in order to get the ball rolling on something like this.... but more on that when the next character comes up~

I sincerely hope Mik isn't included in that. :( She's lovely, and what little we know of her backstory through some of your submissions and comments leaves me wanting to know more.
Anyway, I', definitely looking forward to more details about how you plan on doing this reader-driven story. I love MSPA and Prequel, so another comic in that format done by one of my favorite artists would only be the best thing ever.

Formspring is a site dedicated to bombarding a user with questions. One of the earlier forms of interactivity between ones characters was making a formspring in the characters persona and answering each question as the characters would.
MSPA is a venue that allows users to submit commands to the characters within the comic directly influencing where the story goes from there.
This is a MS Paint Adventure about A Khajit from these setting of Oblivion called Prequel - http://www.prequeladventure.com/2012/06/2037/
Ask blogs are a combination of the two. It's where people use the website tumblr and have users ask questions to the artist or their characters which is then replied with with art - sometimes in comic format.
It's a brainstorming session of sorts that sometimes produces interesting results. I want to use it as an more organic way of having my character explore a part of the world unknown to her.... viewers acting as her subconscious. Hopefully I will have input I can use but if not I have a rough guideline for a narrative I can use either way to move it along. Success or fail this is something I've always wanted to try!

I didn't know what you thought of having your art featured in MSPA a few years ago, I suppose you liked it. Good to know.
By the way, the pic of yours Hussie used for the main poster on Jade's bedroom was of a furry witch over a space background, and Jade herself became a furry Witch of Space. HUSSIEEEEEEEEEE!
