This is something I've been considering submitting for a while. "She Moved Through the Fair" is a traditional folk tune, one that I enjoy singing, and one that I learned as part of my actual voice training. :D My rendition is a mix of the traditional method that I learned, with the extra verse as included in Lothlorien's version, and heavily influence by Benjamin Luxom.
A few things. The song does grow quieter as it progresses, but this is intentional, due to the theme and mood. Also, I know I have a tendency to overpronounce my sibilants; I have a severe underbite, and I'm fairly certain that's why. Suffice to say, if I ever get dental insurance, that will go away. This recording isn't perfect in the least, but I'm satisfied with it as a sample of my voice and ability. Please enjoy.
Recorded with my stupid little detachable headphones mic, via GoldWave and edited in SoundForge. Converted to MP3 format with LAME. I guess that's what you're supposed to say, right?

Oh, I wondered what that was.
Actually, display of special characters is entirely dependent upon the user-end, unless a site has the ability to display them. Neither FA nor I do, so I'm just seeing boxes there. But give me some manner/place descriptions, I'm all about the IPA. :D

Yes yes yes.... love it. Mind you my favorite all time group is Fairport Conventon and I have also just found John Tam who I am sure you would like. Found him in a series my freind in England has been sending me called 'Sharpe' (Napoleonic era English soldier drama).
Very nicely done hun.
