Glad to get this guy coloured - he's been perched in my sketchbook and scanned for so long, patiently waiting. And I'm glad I waited to use my new gradient-shading style on him - I really think it looks nicer and crisper (omg!) than the soft-shading I was using for Skeezit, Huzn, and those guys. ^^
Peacock & black panther gryphon! Remember that poll I took a while back about suggestions for cool and unique gryphons? I went ahead and sketched most of them, but haven't had the chance to fully-colour them. Until now. *cocks AK mag*

Also, what does anyone think about the background? I usually go with a single-layer texture background, but decided to try this. Too dark? Too light? Just right?
