FallenFeathers - Lance
Yosh has a very special, birdy buddy named Lance. He is friends with Mr. O'Ducky and shows up from time-to-time to babysit when the Gonzales' aren't around to help keep an eye on the little, dino-duck.
In this encounter, Lance has taken Yosh to the park and is having lots of fun showing the lil' zootle how to fly in the swings while also introducing him to the magic of making a wish at the park's beautiful fountain.
Although Yosh wishes he could visit with his birdy buddy every single day, he knows he'd miss his other friends who love and care for him, too. However, the times he spends with Lance are always special and treasured for the wonderful, birdy bonding they bring.

I'm super happy you liked this piece, Tippie. It was one where I tried a few different things. The primary being not starting with the head / beak / bill like I normally do.
It's a lot of fun to take those happy adventures in your head and turn them into imagery and/or tales. It helps remind me that good times are always just around the corner.
More on cute birdies, I realized I have yet to put my latest advances in drawing towards Apollo, Paisley, and friends. I tried a few quick sketches during breaks at work. My hope is to have an inspired, finished product for you to see very soon. It is so much fun drawing your characters and I can never truly ever get enough of Apollo. :)

It's okay. I'm just always glad to hear from you as you get the chance to log on. I just apologize for that last letter I sent you. I was really scared after I experienced a complication from surgery, but things are looking on the up now and that means that in a few weeks I should be able to see all the wonderful Apollo and Friends works you get up. Knowing you are around gives me tons to look forward to as you are a great friend who i care about very much and hope are doing better than ever before.
