I apologize for the comic being a day late. Meanwhile, we're now finally in the hurricane, some of us a little more than others. If it weren't for the debris, Fuego's location MIGHT be kinda refreshing, although it wouldn't take long for the rain to feel like bullets. Wait, how is Fuego able to keep his eyes open? Okay, I guess that can be explained by the rain going away from his eyes & his ears being an umbrella. That explanation will work.
Fast Over-analytical fact: Originally, I put Kenny & Fuego on the wrong side of the tower for the wind to be blowing that direction. The hurricane is coming from the west. The way I staged it, they were facing east & the crate looks best blowing in that direction. Too late in the process, I realized that this makes the wind coming FROM the hurricane, but in reality, the wind goes TOWARD the hurricane. After making absolutely sure the wind can't be possibly correct(VERY slim chance), I turned the whole set around in the easiest way possible: I removed the lemming capitol from behind the houses. That was the only landmark that indicated which direction the camera is pointed(the houses are the same on both sides). There, now the camera is facing south and they're facing the hurricane.
Of course, I'm the ONLY person who would notice this continuity error, but somebody is bound to notice sometime after I make it known that the lemming capitol(the observatory) is on the north side and the island is at the coordinates 42N 139W above the Chase Seamount(1245km or 773 miles west of the top of California's coastline, directly south of the Alaska/Canada border). That information is bound to be mentioned at some point, anyway. Having the winds going the other direction would mean the hurricane came from Alaska, which is possible, but just too rare. Nope, the hurricane is coming from the south west(or maybe just west, looking at the trade winds).
Edit: I just realized that the rain makes the path of the milk crate hard to see anyway. Oh well.

Yeah, I think this IS the first time "Duke bossy pants no-fun mother dearest" has been mentioned. Good eye!
Anyway, he was mentioned as a duke in just one other comic: http://ferretsvslemmings.com/archiv.....-of-the-intro/
