I got rid of the shoulder-mounted air intake thing-a-ma-doos, from her original design since they served no real purpose and were rather intrusive to her arm articulation.

Those shoulder things looked alright from a certain point of view, until you thought about moving her arms outward, then things get strange and stuff starts banging into other stuff... So I axed 'em.
Simplified the design, and improved it at the same time. Double score!
